The CBN Cream, as its name suggests, is a CBN dry hash, the latest CBD product brought by The Tree CBD team. This extraction is a special hash that is obtained using only 70 micron mesh, extracting only the best properties of hemp. The aim is to offer a product with all its natural terpenes and with a strong aroma without artificial additives, only real hemp terpenes.

What is CBN?

Cannabinol or CBN is one of the multiple cannabinoids found in the Cannabis plant and is classified as a minor cannabinoid. Thanks to more exhaustive research into the effects of this cannabinoid, science is getting closer to determining whether CBN beneficially influences processes such as sleep and appetite.

Even so, the production, isolation and use of CBN supose a greater challenge than other cannabinoids such as CBD or CBG. The main reason is that as we have mentioned, cannabinol is considered a “minor” cannabinoid, since its presence is usually in very low concentrations in live cannabis plants, especially compared to CBD. Differences between CBN and CBD

The most important difference between CBN and CBD is the way they are created. As we have mentioned, CBN is the substance that THC turns into over time and exposure to environmental factors. CBD, on the other hand, exists on its own independent branch of the cannabinoid family tree. Given its relative abundance in modern hemp and cannabis varieties, CBD is considered a “major” cannabinoid while CBN is considered a “secondary”.

The main and biggest difference between CBN and CBD is in their production and collection. As we said before, CBN is created as the Cannabis plant oxidizes over time and exposure to environmental factors, which is why it is found very little in living plants.
