CBD Broad, Full Spectrum and Raw oils: what are their differences?

CBD oils have entered the front door of the sector. The great furore they have created is due to the properties of these oils. There are many benefits they provide. CBD is a natural component derived from hemp that contains anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and moisturizing properties.

CBD oil is a well-known cannabis concentrate in the industry. One of many cannabinoids present in hemp and cannabis plants, it is an organic compound but insoluble in water at room temperature. If you want to get CBD oil, you should know that there are different types. It is important to take into account both opinions about CBD oil and to know which one best suits your needs.

Main differences between Broad, Full Spectrum and Raw oils

There are different types of CBD oil with their own characteristics that make these oils unique. But how do you know which is the ideal oil for each one? At The Tree CBD, we know that there are different types of needs and that is why we have three types of CBD oil trying to better suit each one.

To begin with, one of the main differences between one oil and another is the amount of THC. Being CBD oils, they are analyzed, and all are below 0.2% THC so they are completely legal throughout Europe. As are the cases of Full Spectrum and Raw oils, both contain the THC of the hemp plant, but below 0.2%. Whereas Broad Spectrum oil does not contain THC.

The second most notable difference between oils is in the way they are made. While Broad Spectrum oil is produced with hemp seed oil and broad-spectrum hemp flower extract, broad oils contain most of the active components of hemp. On the other hand, Full Spectrum CBD oil is also made with hemp flower extract but, in its case, it contains all the active components of hemp and its properties, so it does preserve the THC of the plant.

Raw oil is in the same vein because it contains all the active components of hemp but, unlike Full Spectrum, it is made from coconut MCT oil. Coconut MCT oil, or medium-chain triglyceride, is a type of saturated fat that can be found in coconut oil. It has become one of the latest CBD oil-based advancements. Cannabinoids are stored in fat instead of in water when they break down, that is, they are fat-soluble. This is why cannabinoids increase their effectiveness when they are consumed with fat. Although it depends on the type of fat.

CBD oil, filtered or unfiltered?

Another difference that should be noted in the oils is whether or not they are filtered. A characteristic that will define the purity of the oils. In this range, the one that would take the first place for being the purest oil is the Raw oil because it is not filtered. Can you detect with the naked eye whether or not it is filtered? The answer is yes, thanks to its colour.

For example, CBD Raw oil, the purest, has a dark and dense colour, maintaining the purity of the oil; while compared to the Broad Spectrum it is a more transparent and clear oil. Although in the middle of these two oils is the Full Spectrum because its colour could be categorized as gold yellow.

Although all oils have different characteristics that make them unique. In The Tree CBD you can find them with different percentages and what does that mean? The degree of concentration of CBD that is per drop.

We offer 2.5%, 5%, 10% and 20% oils. So depending on the oil you choose, it will have a higher or lower concentration of CBD per drop, although they all have the same characteristics.

In addition, the oils that The Tree CBD offers you, both the Broad, Full Spectrum or Raw are grown in an ecological way, free of pesticides, harmful chemicals, and following the most rigorous quality controls, and with 100% plant-based ingredients.

In the world of CBD oil, there are very diverse opinions. Although most have given positive feedback on these oils due to their properties. It is for this reason that in recent months there has been a boom in the sector. In addition, more and more large companies are introducing CBD among the ingredients of their products thanks to the benefits it provides. That is why CBD oil could not be less. So, don’t miss out on one of the three types of CBD oil and take advantage of its advantages.
