Types of 5% CBD products

At The Tree CBD, we offer our customers two types of products with a CBD concentration of 5%: CBD oils and CBD e-liquids. Alongside these products, we also offer Petly CBD oil for pets, which has a CBD concentration of 3%. This concentration is similar to that of the other products mentioned, but somewhat lower, making it ideal for our pets.

Lastly, although it’s not exactly a CBD product, our 5% CBG oil is also worth mentioning. It’s a full spectrum oil that retains all the cannabinoids of the plant, including THC, with a CBG concentration of 5%.

Types of 5% CBD oil

Just as there are CBD oils of various concentrations, there are also various types of CBD oil, which contain different ingredients. At The Tree CBD, we have a wide range of CBD oils.

Firstly, broad spectrum CBD oils don’t contain THC, but retain the rest of the plant’s active ingredients such as terpenes and other cannabinoids.

Full spectrum CBD oils, on the other hand, do have a small amount of THC, the legally permitted 0.2%, in addition to the plant’s other components. In other words, it contains the full spectrum of plant substances, hence the name.

Lastly, raw CBD oils are the ones that have the highest levels of purity, as the flower extract they contain hasn’t been filtered. In these oils, MCT coconut oil is used as a base and raw CBD extract is added, which means that they contain all the components of the plant, including waxes and resins.

It’s a type of oil that has a herbal and slightly bitter aroma, so it’s often recommended for those who are already experienced with CBD oils.

How do you use 5% CBD oil?

Until 2018, CBD could be sold in Europe as a dietary supplement. At that time it was available as a variety of food products and oils for oral or sublingual consumption in specialised shops such as CBD shops and grow shops. These products were very popular with those seeking the benefits of CBD and increased well-being from its use.

However, due to changes in the regulation concerning hemp flowers, CBD oil can currently only be marketed for topical application in Europe, and can’t be sold for consumption as a food product. Therefore, it’s understood that users taking CBD oil orally would be misusing the product.

In some countries in Europe and America, CBD oil can be purchased as a dietary supplement. The reason for this restriction in Europe is that, although CBD oil is made from an edible plant-based oil, the process of CBD enrichment makes it illegal to be marketed as food in this region.
